my mom made this "quiet book" when i was a little girl and considered throwing it away before offering it to me. i gladly took it. ava loves it, even though most of the pieces are lost. so i'm taking some pictures of my favorite pages before it's too old and tattered. this is the "snap" page with the turtle and his sweet, puffy heart. he's my favorite.

I love stuff from when I was a kid. My parents kept a bunch of the toys we played with and the books we read and the movies we watched. Now my kids like to go to Granny and Grandpa's house. :)
That is an awfully cute quiet book. I've been thinking about making one for Abby, but I've already got a backlog of baby projects. What else is in there besides the charming flower-lovin' turtle?
