i am on pins and needles, but not the kind that make you all excited for the results of some major competition that you've worked really hard for and are excited about because it's over.
nope.
i'm talking pins and needles because your toddler is holding a handful of butter and your newborn doesn't really want you to put him down and your house is a disaster because you're moving and oh yeah! you're moving.
ugh.
i told ryan that there's a good chance that by the end of this move this house may only have one occupant.
"why?"
"because i'm going to kill everyone."
"even me?"
"probably. because you're going to try to save my intended victim and i'll have to kill you."
things i hate:
realizing that i just packed what i need (the plastic insert for the diaper genie).
not being able to keep track of the freakin' tape!
washing butter off of ava's hands.
living in chaos.
bananas. nasty consistency.
venting does make it all better, so expect a lot.

Keep venting. It's really the only way to survive moving with small children. And hiding the butter helps, too. And I hate bananas for their consistency, too.
Good luck.
Oh, I've said it before and I'll say it again...and again...and again. Moving is the pits!! You should call every friend you know and just shamelessly pawn Ava off on them while you power through packing. Seriously. There is no better way. Maybe they'd even take the babe for a couple of hours, too! At any rate, you're more than entitled to your venting, so keep at it.
Miriam, I just wanted to tell you that I love you and your ranting. But mostly, the fact that you hate bananas. I do too. This is why we are friends.
P.S. This is Rachel Pulsipher.
